Staff portal was created for internal users (Gert Sibande Discrict Municipality employees) to help them access their internal mailboxes(emails, calender & contacts) when they are out of office for example home, away on business, neighbouring countries but have an internet access this is called Outlook Web Access (OWA).
The following steps will help you access your emails:
Launch a Web Browser and go to www.gsibande.gov.za
On the left hand-side of your screen (the last button) click staff portal
When you are on the staff portal page, click on the link below (underlined)
On the dialog box on your screen, enter your username & password
(the very same credentials you use to log on to your PC on the GSDM network) and then click OK
NB :THE ABOVE METHOD DOES NOT APPLY WHEN YOU ARE INSIDE THE GSDM NETWORK.
